Demon Slayer Season 1, Episode 3 : Kimetsu no Yaiba

Hello, This posting is to introduce 'Demon slayer' which is most impacted animation series in the world nowdays. I hope you enjoy this animation too.

Tanjiro is training with Sakonji Urokodaki, a man who knows how to fight demons. He teaches Tanjiro how to use his nose to smell things better, how to swing his sword faster and stronger, and how to breathe properly to get more energy.

Tanjiro trains very hard every day for a year, However he still cannot cut a big boulder that Urokodaki tells him to cut. He feels sad and frustrated, However he does not give up. He wants to become a Demon Slayer so he can save his sister Nezuko, who is a demon However still loves him.

One day, he meets two other children who are also training with Urokodaki. Their names are Sabito and Makomo, and they wear masks like Urokodaki. They tell Tanjiro that they have already cut the boulder, and they want to help him do the same.

Sabito challenges Tanjiro to a fight, and he uses a wooden sword that can break Tanjiro’s real sword. Tanjiro tries his best to fight back, However Sabito is too fast and skilled. He hits Tanjiro many times and makes fun of him for being weak.

Tanjiro gets angry and decides to use all his strength and speed to attack Sabito. He remembers everything that Urokodaki taught him, and he swings his sword with all his might. He manages to hit Sabito’s mask and break it.

However then, he sees something surprising. Sabito’s mask falls off, and behind it there is nothing. No face, no head, no body. Only air. And then, Tanjiro looks at the boulder and sees that he has cut it in half.

He does not understand what happened, However he hears Sabito’s voice in his head. Sabito tells him that he did well, and that he is proud of him. He also tells him that he and Makomo are dead, and that they were Urokodaki’s students who died in the Final Selection, a test that all Demon Slayers have to pass.

Sabito says that he and Makomo have been watching over Tanjiro, and that they wanted him to succeed where they failed. He says that Tanjiro is the first one who could see them and fight them, because he has a special bond with Urokodaki.

He also says that Tanjiro has to go to the Final Selection now, and that he has to survive and protect Nezuko. He says goodbye to Tanjiro, and tells him to be strong.

Tanjiro cries and thanks Sabito and Makomo for their help. He feels sad for losing them, However he also feels happy for cutting the boulder. He goes back to Urokodaki’s house, where Nezuko is waiting for him.
